OKTA ENGINEER

Location: (USA) / Onsite (Client Location)
Duration: Long-Term Contract

Visa: OPT/H1B/ GC/ USC
Experience: 8+ Years

Requirement details:

Design, configure, and implement Identity & Access Management using Okta Workforce Identity Cloud :

Okta Universal Directory, SSO, and Adaptive MFA configuration
Okta Workflows for identity automation and orchestration
Advanced Server Access and Privileged Access management

Develop and configure:

Okta SSO applications (SAML 2.0, OIDC, SWA) and custom integrations
Authentication policies, sign-on policies, and MFA configurations
Lifecycle management with SCIM provisioning/de-provisioning
Custom expressions, inline hooks, and API integrations

Configure advanced Okta capabilities:

Okta Threat Insight and Adaptive Multi-Factor Authentication
Identity Governance with access certifications and SOD
Okta Workflows for complex automation scenarios
Device Trust and context-aware access policies

Integrate Okta with:

Enterprise directories (Active Directory, LDAP, Azure AD)
HR systems (Workday, SuccessFactors) for automated provisioning
SaaS applications (Salesforce, ServiceNow, Office 365, Slack)
Custom applications via OIDC, SAML, and SCIM connectors

Implement:

Zero Trust access model with continuous authentication
Passwordless and FIDO2 authentication experiences
Risk-based authentication and session management
High availability, disaster recovery, and performance optimization

Required Skills:

8+ years Okta implementation and administration experience
Expert-level Okta Workflows, API, and OIDC/SAML configuration
Advanced troubleshooting of authentication and provisioning issues
SCIM connector development and custom integration experience
Identity governance and compliance framework implementation
CI/CD automation (Jenkins, Git) for Okta configuration management
