Job Description

We are currently looking to fill several Local CDL B Roll Off Driver positions with Tulsa sanitation company.

Hours: 6am start time. Employees should expect to work 50-65 hours per week including some Saturdays.

Starting Pay: $20-$22/hr without direct experience. More will be considered for direct waste management experience $23-$24/hr

This is a full time, long term, temporary to permanent position. After waiting period employees receive 100% of medical benefits paid for for them and their family!

Essential Job Responsibilities:

• Operate garbage truck to pick up waste and recycling materials along designated routes.
• Safely maneuver the vehicle in residential and commercial areas, adhering to traffic and safety regulations.
• Empty bins and containers, ensuring proper placement and securing of materials.
• Perform routine maintenance checks on the vehicle, including pre-trip inspections and minor repairs.
• Communicate effectively with dispatch and team members to coordinate routes and address any issues or concerns.
• Maintain cleanliness and organization of the vehicle and work area.

Requirements/Qualifications:

• Current valid Class A or B Oklahoma's Drivers License
• Clean MVR
• Ability and experience operating manual transmission
• Up-to-date DOT medical card
• Must be able to lift up to 50 lbs regularly
• Able to pass pre-employment drug screen
• Flexibility with schedule and ability to work overtime when requested
• For insurance reasons, candidates must be 21 years or older for consideration with at least 3 years of experience or over 25 if under 3 years of experience.

You should be proficient in:

• Truck Operations & Load Securement
• Current CDL License
• DOT & Equipment Inspection Compliance
