Quality Manager

• Location: Oxford, CT

• Hours: Monday-Friday on site

• Industry: Industrial Products Manufacturer

• Pay : $120,000-135,000 DOE

We are seeking an experienced Quality Manager to lead the quality function within a high-volume environment. You will own the QMS, ensure ISO and customer compliance, drive continuous improvement, lead the quality team, manage audits, and resolve customer issues while supporting overall production performance.

Key Responsibilities:

• Lead and develop the Quality team including inspectors, technicians, and engineers
• Maintain and improve the Quality Management System (QMS) ensuring compliance with ISO standards
• Oversee internal and external audits, including customer and regulatory audits
• Manage customer and supplier quality concerns, ensuring timely corrective actions
• Lead root cause analysis, CAPA activities, and continuous improvement initiatives
• Ensure all products meet customer specifications through effective inspection and process control
• Coordinate metrology, calibration, and process validation activities
• Monitor, report, and drive improvement of key quality metrics and KPIs
• Collaborate with engineering and production teams on new product introduction and process improvements
• Promote quality standards and customer requirements across the business

Qualifications and Experience required:

• Injection molding manufacturing experience is required
• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience preferred
• Minimum 6+ years’ experience in quality assurance within manufacturing
• Minimum 3+ years’ experience leading or managing a team
• Strong knowledge of ISO quality systems (ISO 9001 / ISO 13485 preferred)
• Experience with audits, CAPA, root cause analysis, and continuous improvement
• Understanding of GD&T and metrology principles
• Strong communication and leadership skills
