Product Owner — ServiceNow Implementation (Reston, VA)

Location: Reston, VA — Hybrid (onsite ~1–2x per week)

Employment: W2 • Contract Type: Contract (12 months, T2P)

QTechUS is seeking an experienced Product Owner to lead ServiceNow implementation work and define product direction within their IT organization. This role partners with scrum teams, stakeholders and technical leads to translate strategy into prioritized, deliverable work.

Key Responsibilities

  • Serve as the Scrum Product Owner for ServiceNow implementation efforts, driving business value and prioritization.
  • Build, manage and maintain the Product Backlog; define epics, features and acceptance criteria in collaboration with BAs and architects.
  • Represent the business to development teams, translate business goals into user stories and ensure clarity of scope and expectations.
  • Lead Joint Application Development (JAD) and other collaborative sessions to shape features and validate requirements.
  • Support multiple scrum teams, provide coaching on Agile practices and improve delivery agility.

Qualifications

  • 8+ years of relevant experience with at least 6 years in a Product Owner role or similar, demonstrating strong Agile process and principles knowledge.
  • Direct experience supporting ServiceNow implementations; familiarity with CSM, ITSM and/or CRM modules preferred.
  • Proven experience building product roadmaps, defining MVPs and prioritizing backlogs to deliver measurable business value.
  • Certifications such as Certified Scrum Product Owner (CSPO), Scrum Master (CSM) or ServiceNow certifications are a plus.
  • Strong communication skills; ability to engage stakeholders, mentor teams and manage competing priorities in a fast-paced environment.
