Job Description

Job Summary (Product Owner):


- Owns and manages the team-level product backlog, keeping it prioritized, refined, and sprint-ready
- Translates product strategy and initiatives into clear, actionable epics, user stories, and acceptance criteria
- Defines and enforces the Definition of Ready (DoR) to ensure quality and clarity before development work begins
- Validates completed work against acceptance criteria, accepting or rejecting deliverables as appropriate
- Participates actively in Agile/Scrum ceremonies (standups, backlog refinement, sprint planning, reviews, retrospectives)
- Supports development teams during sprints by clarifying requirements, removing blockers, and making timely decisions
- Provides transparency on delivery progress, risks, and dependencies, ensuring traceability from stories to initiatives
- Collaborates closely with engineering and delivery teams to keep work moving efficiently
- Demonstrates strong proficiency with Jira and Confluence for backlog management and team collaboration
- Highly organized, detail-oriented, and focused on delivering measurable product outcomes
