Life in the Role

Your day at our Geneva warehouse starts with a safety mindset. You run a thorough pre-check on the Versalift high-reach forklift, confirm it’s ready for put-away and heavy-item moves, and scan the dock schedule for inbound and outbound priorities.

As trucks arrive, you unload and load with precision—verifying quantities and condition, handling documentation, and completing receiving and shipping steps without delay. New items are inspected, labeled, and guided to the right bin locations. Orders flow in; you pick, pack, stage, and ship what customers need, when they need it, ensuring every part and piece of equipment matches the order exactly.

What You’ll Tackle

• Manage daily shipping and receiving activities for spare parts and equipment, including unloading/loading, quality checks, documentation, and timely dispatch.
• Operate a Versalift high-reach forklift safely and efficiently for put-away, picking, and movement of heavy items.
• Conduct daily equipment inspections and immediately report safety or maintenance concerns.
• Own incoming inspection, product labeling, and accurate placement in assigned bin locations.
• Record real-time inventory transactions—receipts, transfers, issues, and cycle counts—in MS Dynamics (or the assigned WMS/ERP).
• Support monthly cycle counts and the annual physical inventory; investigate discrepancies and help resolve root causes.

Safety and Compliance First

• Apply OSHA HazCom knowledge, including handling Safety Data Sheets (SDS) and correct chemical labeling.
• Work within machine guarding expectations, use appropriate PPE, and follow lockout/tagout procedures.
• Maintain clear, hazard-free aisles and racking—preventing slips, trips, and falls; stack materials safely.
• Know emergency protocols for fire, spills, and evacuation, and support our zero-incident objective.
• Follow warehouse SOPs, safety rules, and 5S standards to keep the Geneva facility clean, organized, and efficient.

What You Bring

• 2+ years of warehouse or shipping/receiving experience (preferred).
• Certified—or ready to become certified—on a high-reach forklift (Versalift).
• Comfort with WMS/ERP platforms; MS Dynamics experience preferred.
• Understanding of inventory accuracy and counting processes.
• Attention to detail, reliability, and a collaborative approach to teamwork.
