Position Overview
Responsible for freight planning, load assignment, and dispatch workflow through Oregon-based systems. Charleston candidates may participate in hybrid workflow sessions, while remote candidates are fully integrated nationwide. Entry-level candidates receive structured training; experienced professionals independently manage operational responsibilities.
Key Responsibilities
Assign freight loads and track shipment progress
Maintain operational documentation and detailed dispatch logs
Communicate updates, exceptions, or delays to drivers and internal teams
Monitor delivery timelines and shipment statuses
Identify workflow inefficiencies and recommend improvements
Collaborate with Oregon-based management to maintain alignment
Escalate scheduling conflicts or operational issues as needed
Qualifications
Strong verbal and written communication skills
Computer proficiency including dispatch/tracking systems
Highly organized, detail-oriented, and process-driven
Ability to follow structured workflows and procedures
Time management and multitasking skills
Experience optional; full training provided
Work Environment
