Role Responsibilities

• Experience with repairing and maintaining plant facilities systems including boilers, chillers and water purification systems
• Safely perform repairs on equipment while following all lockout and plant safety procedures to include the use of required PPE
• Diagnose, troubleshoot and repair equipment using schematics and technical manuals
• Perform preventative maintenance on various equipment
• Maintain organization of maintenance areas and any other area where repair work is in progress
• Experience with pneumatic and hydraulic systems
• Pipefitting and plumbing
• Welding and cutting
• Experienced in electrical troubleshooting of control circuits and exhibit the ability to safely work with single and three phone voltages up to 480 volts
• Experience with controls systems and PLC logic

Qualifications

• Associates Degree or equivalent experience
• At least two years of experience in a maintenance capacity
• Proven general electrical and mechanical troubleshooting and repair skills, including pipefitting, plumbing, welding and cutting
• Works well in a team
• Highly organized
• Good communication skills
• Fluency in English
• Ability to multi-task and prioritize
• Self-starting; able to work well independently with little supervision
• Accurate and ability to work in a fast-paced environment
• Able to use a computer for basic functions such as e-mail, search for parts, documentation, etc.

Non-Essential Skills and Experience:

• Experience with Industrial Instrumentation and Sensors
• Experience with PLC Fundamentals, particularly Rockwell, Allen Bradley
