Job Description:

Seeking a Scrum Master to support Agile software development initiatives for a Federal Government project. The Scrum Master will facilitate Agile ceremonies, support SAFe Agile delivery, remove team impediments, maintain Jira project tracking, and collaborate with Product Owners, Developers, QA teams, and stakeholders to ensure successful project execution.

Key Responsibilities:

• Facilitate Daily Stand-ups, Sprint Planning, Sprint Reviews, Sprint Retrospectives, and Backlog Refinement sessions.

• Guide and coach Agile teams on Scrum principles and SAFe methodologies.

• Collaborate with Product Owners, Business Stakeholders, Developers, QA teams, and Leadership.

• Identify and remove impediments impacting team productivity.

• Track sprint progress, velocity, burndown metrics, and delivery milestones.

• Ensure Agile processes and standards are consistently followed.

• Maintain Agile artifacts, dashboards, and reporting within Jira.

• Assist Product Owners with backlog prioritization and user story refinement.

• Support release planning and cross-functional team coordination.

• Drive continuous improvement and Agile maturity initiatives.

• Prepare and present project status reports and Agile metrics.

Qualifications:

• 35 Years of Scrum Master experience.

• Strong understanding of Agile Principles and Scrum Framework.

• Experience working within SAFe Agile environments.

• Hands-on Jira experience for Agile project management and reporting.

• Experience facilitating Agile teams and Scrum ceremonies.

• Strong stakeholder communication and coordination skills.

• Experience supporting software development or IT project teams.

• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.

• Ability to work effectively in a remote environment.

Education:

• Bachelors Degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, Business Administration, or related field preferred.

• Equivalent professional experience may be considered.

Certifications:

• Certified Scrum Master (CSM) Preferred

• SAFe Scrum Master (SSM) Preferred

• Equivalent Agile Certification Preferred

Mandatory Requirements:

• U.S. Citizen Only.

• Must be eligible to support a Federal Government project.

• Experience must be within the 35 year range.

• SAFe Agile experience is mandatory.

• Jira experience is mandatory.

• Must be able to work remotely within the United States.
